EL AL sets 2027 target
EL AL plans to introduce Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet beginning in 2027, according to One Mile at a Time. The service is expected to be complimentary, but the airline has not specified when during 2027 installations will start or how long the rollout will take. EL AL operates just under 50 Boeing 737, 777 and 787 aircraft.
British Airways A350 work reported complete
Head for Points reports that FlyerTalk members tracking British Airways’ programme believe all 18 of the airline’s A350 aircraft have now received Starlink. Its Boeing 787-8 installations were completed earlier apart from one of the 12 aircraft, while the report does not include the 787-9 or 787-10 fleets in that work.
Virgin Atlantic 787 installations remain planned
Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787 installations have not yet been officially confirmed as under way. Head for Points says the V-Flyer forum expects work to begin in the first week of November at Bournemouth Airport. The report says Virgin Atlantic’s A350 fleet has already been completed.
