Riyadh Air shifts departures to Al Qassim

Riyadh Air plans to resume passenger services from Al Qassim Airport on October 25, 2026, according to One Mile at a Time. The initial destinations are Cairo, Dhaka, Islamabad, Jeddah, London Heathrow and Lahore. The airport is about 400 kilometres from Riyadh.

The report says passengers starting in Riyadh can check in at the InterContinental Hotel Durrat Al Riyadh and take a complimentary coach to Al Qassim. Check-in is scheduled from two hours until 15 minutes before the coach departs. The bus journey is expected to take about four and a half hours.

Qatar Airways rebalances US East Coast network

Separately, Simple Flying reports that Qatar Airways is rebalancing its US East Coast flying following American Airlines’ withdrawal from Doha.
