Venice fee calendar grows to 72 days
Venice’s municipal executive has approved 72 access-fee dates for 2027, Corriere Viaggi reports. The calendar runs from March 26 to August 15, mainly covering Fridays through Sundays, with continuous charging from April 23 to May 2 and May 28 to June 6. On applicable days, payment will be required from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
The charge will be capped at €10. The city is expected to set the detailed tariff, exemptions, exclusions and booking arrangements through further measures. Reservations will use an online platform, but an opening date for 2027 bookings has not been announced.
US visa interview changes capped in Brazil
US visa applicants in Brazil may now cancel or reschedule an interview no more than three times per application, Viagem e Turismo reports, citing scheduling services and the US Consulate General in São Paulo. The combined limit applies across visa categories and took effect on September 29.
Once the three changes are used, the system blocks further alterations. Continuing requires a new application and another US$185 consular fee. Merely checking the appointment calendar without confirming a change does not count toward the limit.
