Detroit’s Iceland link disappears
One Mile at a Time and View from the Wing report that Delta has removed its Detroit–Keflavik service. The development leaves Detroit without nonstop Iceland flights from either Delta or Icelandair, according to the two travel sites.
Icelandair introduced Detroit service in 2023, with Delta subsequently adding the same route. Icelandair ended its Detroit operation in early 2026, and the reports place Delta’s withdrawal later in the same year. Travellers planning flights between Detroit and Iceland will therefore no longer have a nonstop option on either carrier.
