New transcontinental service

United Airlines plans to launch daily, year-round nonstop flights between Bradley International Airport in Connecticut and San Francisco International Airport on March 28, 2027, according to an announcement reported by Travel Daily News. The flight is scheduled to leave Bradley at 6:30 p.m. each evening.

The Connecticut Airport Authority said the addition would mean United serves five of its eight US hubs from Bradley. The airline also operates Bradley flights to Chicago, Denver and Washington, DC, while service to Houston was introduced earlier in 2026.

Part of a four-route expansion

The Points Guy reported that Bradley–San Francisco is among four new or returning United routes planned for 2027. The others connect San Francisco with Charleston and Oklahoma City, and Chicago O’Hare with Bermuda. United is expected to use a Boeing 737-family aircraft for the Bradley route, which it last operated in 2018.
