A321XLR planned for Air Canada’s Montréal–Madrid route
Air Canada plans to deploy its Airbus A321XLR between Montréal-Trudeau International Airport and Madrid Barajas Airport, Simple Flying reported, citing a Cirium Diio schedule update also identified by AeroRoutes.
Lufthansa plans São Paulo frequency increase
Lufthansa plans to increase its Munich–São Paulo Guarulhos service from three to six flights a week beginning August 15, 2027, according to AeroRoutes. A three-class Airbus A350-900 is scheduled to operate the route.
Southwest plans 11 international routes
Southwest Airlines is set to introduce 11 international routes between November 2026 and June 2027, Simple Flying reported. Eight are planned from Nashville and Austin. None of the 11 is scheduled from Houston, Orlando or Baltimore, which the report identifies as the airline’s three busiest international hubs.
