An explosive fire erupted at a chemical plant in León, Mexico, on Friday, according to Al Jazeera. Hundreds of people were evacuated in connection with the blaze.
Bucharest residents removed from cracked block
In Bucharest, 65 residents were evacuated from an apartment block in Sector 6 after firefighters identified movement in parts of the façade and cracks extending into apartments, Digi24 reported.
Irinel-Alexandru Precup, chief inspector of the Bucharest-Ilfov emergency inspectorate, said the evacuation was a temporary safety measure. Authorities were expected to determine the necessary next steps at a meeting of the Emergency Situations Committee.
