Federal case filed in Northern California
The owners of rights to Elvis Presley’s music have brought a copyright lawsuit against Anthropic. WREG reported that the case was filed Friday in federal court in Northern California.
The allegations cover works including “All Shook Up” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The rights holders claim Anthropic used the songs without authorisation and generated alternative versions, according to WREG and WLBT.
