Belgium condemns reported launch

Africanews reported that Belgium condemned Kabila’s decision to launch what the outlet characterised as a political-military movement. The Belgian response described the decision as “deplorable, incomprehensible and unacceptable.”

Lucha calls for renunciation of arms

ACTUALITE.CD reported that the Congolese citizen movement Lucha demanded that Kabila renounce arms. Lucha raised the demand while expressing concern about the deterioration of the political and security situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The movement also sought answers from Tshisekedi, according to the report.
