Targeted tariff removal
US President Donald Trump signed an order removing 50% tariffs imposed on some Canadian agricultural and forestry products, Al Roya Oman reported, citing Reuters. The measure is limited to specified parts of those sectors rather than a wider removal of tariffs on Canadian imports.
Vz.lt reported that the Trump administration implemented the partial tariff rollback on Friday. The action came two weeks before the US midterm elections.
