Maine sets another price record
The average price of heating oil in Maine reached a record $6.05 a gallon, according to Maine Department of Energy Resources figures reported by the Portland Press Herald. That was one cent higher than the record set the previous week.

Sen. Reed is seeking more aid to help address rising heating costs in Rhode Island, ABC6 reported. The outlet said higher bills are raising concerns about whether households will be able to cover heating alongside other essentials this winter.
