Champi moves across Philippine Sea
Champi, called Rosal in the Philippines, was weakening while moving west-northwest over the Philippine Sea, PTV News reported. The storm had attained its highest intensity on Wednesday as a super typhoon.
PAGASA placed the storm about 400 kilometres east of Basco, Batanes, in an 11 a.m. bulletin on Thursday.
