JOSHUA JOSUE - CHICANO REVUE

About the event

Joshua Josue - Chicano Revue with SuntexSoul'd Out Presents: Joshua Josue - Chicano Revue Featuring Joshua Josue with special guests : Suntex https://www.suntexband.com/ Doors: 7:00pm Show: 8:00pm Ages 21+ ----------------------- Joshua Josué is a Portland, Oregon-based Chicano singer-songwriter whose music blends classic rock 'n' roll, Americana, and borderland storytelling. His latest album, Broadcast to the Surf Ballroom, is an ambitious tribute to the unfinished musical legacy of Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens. Inspired by their final demos and recordings, Josué reimagines the songs they never had the chance to complete, honoring their spirit while bringing his own voice and vision to the music. Recorded with a raw, live-band energy, the album celebrates the timeless influence of two rock 'n' roll pioneers while reflecting Josué's deep personal connection to their music---artists who inspired him to first pick up a guitar. Josué's acclaimed debut, Beneath the Sand, established him as a compelling storyteller, blending Chicano soul, folk, and rock with bilingual songwriting shaped by his travels through Mexico and Central America. Live, Joshua Josué delivers an electrifying performance featuring beloved classics like "La Bamba," "That'll Be the Day," and "Donna," alongside deeper cuts and original songs that honor rock 'n' roll's enduring legacy while carrying it into the present. --------------------------- Notes on Seating: Open seating, may be limited or standing room only.
