Boris Grebenshchikov

About the event

The absolute legend and revered founding father of Russian rock, founder of the band Aquarium, Boris Grebenshchikov, will perform in Dubai for the very first time. Together with a unique ensemble of musicians from around the world, he will present his timeless hits and a brand-new program! IndependentArt invites you to a unique event that will truly be a landmark for Dubai -- we will be among the very first to witness the new program of arguably the greatest legend of Russian rock! The concert will be a unique dialogue of eras: it will weave together the most famous hits that changed the consciousness of generations of our compatriots, and new, freshly recorded tracks from the latest album "Strange News from a Distant Star," released in 2026! The new songs continue the author's tradition of poetic and musical exploration and are already becoming part of the cultural code. The lineup performing with Boris Grebenshikov is also unique -- it is the "BG+" project, which unites both legendary members of Aquarium from different eras and virtuoso international musicians who have been working with the collective in recent years and participated in recording the new albums! This will not be the classic "Aquarium," but its living, breathing, and modern incarnation --- the BG+ project, with which the musician is creating his latest chapter, meeting the highest world standards of sound quality. This concert is for those seeking not just entertainment, but a sincere and spiritual experience. For those in search of light and depth. For those who value meaning, live instrumentation, and the power of words sung with truth. Tickets for this historic performance are selling fast. Secure your seat in the hall in time.
